The Mannes Air Sterilizer is the most advanced personal air purification product on the market because it removes and neutralizes virtually all airborne pollutants. 1.	Treated Pre-filter - Removes particles (5) microns and larger, extending the life of the HEPA filter and gas absorbing media.
2.	Hospital grade HEPA filter - Removes microscopic pollutants
3.	Specially formulated gas absorption media - Absorbs toxic gases, odors and fumes.
4.	Photo-Catalytic Oxidation - Converts toxic compounds not absorbed by gas absorption media into benign constituents. Researched and developed by Sandia National Laboratory and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), a division of the Department of Energy, and used by the Department of Defense.
5.	Ultraviolet light - Exposure to UV-c light 10,000 times the intensity of sunlight kills viruses and bacteria too small to be collected by filters. UV-c rays, while having the greatest ability to destroy disease-causing germs, has the least penetrating ability of any form of UV light.
